Though Tomas has a background in both performing arts and technology, he has also cultivated his interest in environmental research and conservation. He hopes to merge all three fields and produce eco-friendly technology that not only protects the environment, but is also affordable, gentle on the user’s vision, and fully functional. Tomas has competed in the Florida State Science Olympiad competition, and he has worked as a counselor for STEM summer camps. He plans to major in mechanical engineering and minor in German. Tomas is currently fluent in three languages, but he hopes to achieve fluency in German and eventually work with German automotive companies in efforts to establish reliable alternative fuel sources.
