A Nevada Youth Legislator, Skyler had the opportunity to host a Town Hall Meeting at a high school in his Senate District. Skyler explains that by listening more than speaking, he better familiarized himself with issues most affecting students his age. Skyler works with 20 other Youth Legislators in his state, and he explains that these students are all from differing socio-economic backgrounds. Skyler has learned to build relationships with students with perspectives varying from his own. He is a cabinet member of the Student Council, secretary of the Key Club, and a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.
