Rashi Kejriwal is an incoming freshman at Carnegie Mellon University and plans to study Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Robotics. She attended Mount Hebron High School in Howard County. Throughout high school she has held an active leadership role in numerous clubs and organizations including the Future Business Leaders of America, Physics Olympics, the Society of Women Engineers, and the National Technical Honor Society. Apart from this, she and two other Mount Hebron students founded WEngineer, an engineering academy for middle school students that teaches a variety of engineering fields, computer programming, and 3D modeling as well as an app, Safe Haven, that provides aid for families in the disaster relief process. Through participation in numerous national level competitions, she and her team members were also winners of the Congressional App Challenge, PLTW National Engineering Design Competition, and more. In the future, she hopes to continue onto higher education and hopes to continue to use engineering as a way to better our society.
