My name is Moya Stringer, and I was raised in a bilingual French-English family in Bloomington, Indiana. I'm interested in sustainability and in discovering more about possible scientific solutions to the environmental crisis. In September 2021, I will be attending Colby College in Maine to study biochemistry. Outside of science, I love to read, paint, play the violin, and hike in the mountains. I also love working together with other people in local environmental groups and in Habitat for Humanity, which builds housing for people in need. I'm so grateful to NSHSS for helping to make possible my dream of making the world a better place through my studies at university.
