Luis is passionate about public policy and takes great pride in working to educate his peers about the importance of higher education and becoming active citizens. Luis has given multiple town hall speeches and organized his peers to carry out voter registration initiatives. Luis is heavily involved in South Central Youth Empowerment Thru Action (SCYEA) and Manual Arts Youth Empowerment Thru Action (MAYEA).
