Kate Jacobsen was born and raised in Temecula, CA, and loved growing up near the ocean and the mountains. Kate excelled in athletics as a three-sport varsity athlete in soccer, track and field, and golf. She was named a High School All-American in soccer. After winning the California Division One CIF and State Soccer Championships, she was selected as the California High School Player of the year. Student leadership is Kate’s passion. She has participated in student government since she was young. She served as the Associated Student Body vice president, music honor society president in middle school, and ASB President in high school. She is a two-year soccer team captain, president, and founder of Club Pre-Med on her high school campus. Service is important to Kate, and she has been privileged to volunteer internationally and for many outstanding Temecula Valley nonprofits. Kate enjoys music performance and the fine arts and has always set her academic goals high. She was selected as a California Interscholastic Federation Student-Athlete of the year and named the California High School Scholar All-American. Kate is studying Exercise Science as a freshman at Brigham Young University and plans to pursue a medical career.
