Isabella Nguyen is an upcoming first-year student at Emory University. She will be majoring in Biology on a pre-med track to pursue her dreams of becoming an ophthalmologist. She can’t wait to see (pun intended) what lies ahead in her journey. As a recipient of the “Abercrombie and Fitch + NSHSS Foundation Your Personal Purpose Scholarship”, she hopes to continue her efforts to give voices to the people previously unheard while advocating health science and education for low-income families. Throughout her life, Isabella was involved in numerous academic organizations, theatre, volunteering, and volleyball. She is honored to have created her own non-profit organization for low-income women. She has also founded an Asian Heritage Club to share her culture throughout her community. As she enters university, Isabella aims to continue bringing new perspectives wherever she goes. Isabella will always stay grateful to Abercrombie and Fitch + NSHSS Foundation for recognizing a spark in her and helping her continue following her dreams.
