At age 11, Grace began to study algorithms and data structures and build websites and interactive games. She explains that her goal is now “to utilize computational methods in revolutionizing biomedical research.” While interning with the Institute for Systems Biology, Grace improved the effectiveness of data analysis and visualization tools. Grace has participated in Microsoft DigiGirlz, Camp BIOMed and the Youth Leadership Conference on Asian and Pacific Islander Health at Stanford University. She will continue her studies at Yale University.
