In order to improve recognition and support of veterans in her community, Elizabeth created VETRN (Visiting, Educating, Thanking, Recreating, and Noticing) Project, “a community projected aimed at honoring veterans.” As cofounder of the VETRN Project, Elizabeth has led groups of volunteers, organized service events, and shared her passion for helping to make a difference in the lives of veterans. The VETRN Project has been featured in multiple newspapers and televised new reports. Elizabeth met all of her high school requirements early, and she interned for Sheetz Corporate during her senior year. Elizabeth is heavily involved in Future Business Leaders of America, and she has participated in varsity basketball and volleyball.
