Elizabeth has researched the Parkerson Mill Creek, which runs through Auburn University’s campus. After teaming up with an undergraduate research assistant to thoroughly review samples, erosion, and the creek’s overall condition, Elizabeth presented her findings to the PMC Committee, citizens of Auburn, and the Auburn University Facilities Division. She has ensured that PMC will be assessed by an undergraduate student every three years. Elizabeth has led numerous clean-ups and spoken at multiple events to empower others to improve their own communities.
