My name is Deborah Shefa and I am a college freshman attending St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota. I am very passionate about the medical field and am on the path to becoming a pediatric physician's assistant through St. Mary’s inaugural graduate program at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. Some of my values include hard work, compassion, humility, and dedication. Some activities I like to do in my free time is babysitting, volunteering, and painting. My long term goal is to use my Physician's Assistant degree to go back and aid the medical crisis in my homeland of Ethiopia.
