Daniela Markazi

As the sole female member, Daniela founded a FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Club at her school. She assisted in establishing the four teams of the club, which has now grown to be the largest robotics club in the world with nine teams this year. Daniela serves as the head of community outreach, publicity, and fundraising. She also serves as a coach, programmer, designer, and builder. Daniela also founded the FIRST Lego League Robotics club for students at her local elementary school. She is the recipient of the 2015 National Award for the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT) for Aspirations in Computing.
