Damiana is a biology major who received numerous gold medals during high school science fairs as well as Best in Category for Behavioral Science. She has presented research at the STEM for Girls Conference in Skokie, Illinois. She has researched ovarian cancer and hopes to have a career as a physician-researcher and as a human rights activist in the field of obstetrics.
