Catherine partnered with Keep Tampa Beautiful to create a proposal for a school-based recycling and sustainability program. This program will launch in the fall semester of 2017 and will kick off with a Green Week, followed by monthly recycling initiatives throughout the year. Catherine has served as a member of the National Honor Society and the Marine Science/Ecology Club. She is also the former president of the Key Club, and she is a recipient of the Lightening Foundation’s Heroes of Tomorrow Award.
