Cassidy has organized and led her school’s anti-bullying awareness concert, Bands Against Bullying, since she was a sophomore. This year her project, the Respect Campaign, presented a video to students which questions the definition of culture and how various cultures are viewed. Cassidy’s campaign devoted each week to a different topic –addressing multiculturalism, sexual orientation, gender identities, and bullying within a month. She ensures that her school’s anti-bullying efforts expand beyond students to involve teachers, administrators, and the entire community. Cassidy is the Student Council president, and she is a TEDx Youth Speaker Coach.
