Alexandra Jackman

Alexandra has been working with individuals with varying levels of Autism since she was ten years old. She created a short film entitled “A Teen’s Guide to Understanding and Communicating with People with Autism” to increase awareness and decrease bullying. Alexandra’s film has been used to educate students about those with special needs in schools worldwide. Alexandra has delivered speeches for multiple anti-bullying associations in New Jersey, and she is currently working with the Autism Center at Montclair State University to create a curriculum to be administered along with her film to students internationally. Alexandra has written articles promoting Autism awareness for the Huffington Post, Autism Speaks, and The Jewish Daily Forward. Alexandra serves as the Student Body president, and she is a member of the National Honor Society. Alexandra is also the founder and president of the Hang Out Club, an organization promoting inclusivity among the general student body and special needs students.
