Alejandro is originally from Mexico, and he was forced to rapidly adapt and learn to fluently speak, write, and comprehend English upon his immigration. Not only has he achieved fluency, but as one of the top debaters at his school, he now serves as a judge of middle school debate competitions. After seeking parental advice, Alejandro has taught the young debaters to view each debate’s outcome as a learning experience instead of a win or loss. Alejandro is an Attendance Administration Assistant, a mentor, a member of the soccer team, and a JC Penny employee. He is also graduating with an Associates of Arts degree from Houston Community College.
